Gyaru, Ganguro, manba, banba

You know the freakishly dark skinned Asians? No? Then here is some good info for you! =^.^=

Ganguro, manba, banba and gyaru are the stand out Japanese styles . There are MANY more. But those are the only ones I know  Some people are confused about those styles. So here is a tiny bit of info for your brain concerning Japanese style.

Ganguro - Ganguro girls have deep(VERY) dark skin. Of course some prefer it lighter. But the skin color stands out. They have bleached hair, white eye make up, white or pale pink lips

Manba - All of the above plus white stripe in nose. It's not that noticeable. Also they sometimes have colorful hair stripes, ribbons. Recently manba's have added more volume to their hair.

Banba - tanned skin, less makeup, much more natural hair.

Gyaru - Doll eyes, contact lenses, big, curly hair... Lot's of pink kawaiiness...

  1. The last one is actually Hime (princess), Gyaru is just japanese pronunciation of "Gal"

  2. Gyaru is actually a fashion, while the last picture IS hime, I'm pretty sure it could be considered HIME gyaru. Gyaru tends to be less pink and seems to be more about diamonds, nice jeans, and be-dazzling the hell out of whatever handheld electronics you own.
